THE CONDOR CONNECTION - Echolink Node AP2CJ-R

THE CONDOR CONNECTION - Echolink Node AP2CJ-L was a success. I was on a mission to find something which would light up an LED on RF receive as I had already put in a LED for the PTT.

I did consult peers but finally the idea came that why not have a audio level LED jump up and down on RF recieve point. The thing was simple and with a help of a simple transistor and few resistors, the LED was alive.

RED LED = PTT

 

BULE LED = RF RECEIVE

 

On this weekend, I re-engineered the circuit to fit it in to a small USB to rs232 cover.
